The VIP Lounge

The VIP Lounge is a special place for special people. Often they are members of some club. Other times the VIP Lounge is only for celebrities or diplomats. There are various types of VIP Lounges and not all of them are so hard to enter.



-The airline VIP Lounge: Travelers flying Business or First Class in any airline are automatically treated to the airline's VIP Lounge. This is a special waiting room with comfortable easy chairs and free drinks and snacks. They also contain free internet access and sometimes they have massage treatments plus showers. However, some airlines will sell you a pass to their VIP Lounge even if you are traveling economy class. It is a good idea to check this out especially if you are changing planes and have several hours in between flights.



-The store VIP Lounge: Exclusive, high fashion stores such as Saks 5th Avenue, Prada, etc. provide VIP Lounges for their preferred customers. Here customers are shown merchandise by sales personnel without having to search through the store for what they want or need. They are often treated to free drinks such as coffee or tea or soft drinks. But take heed - these are customers who spend thousands of dollars in one purchase and not all of us can get into these places.



-Recording studios: Many recording studios provide VIP Lounges fully equipped with the latest recording and sound equipment, allowing certain highly valued recording stars special privileges and privacy for their recording sessions.



-Hotel VIP lounges: Many hotels possess VIP lounges for their hotel club members or for privileged guests such as heads of state, royalty, or even lesser diplomats. By becoming a member of a hotel chain such as Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott, etc. you can have access to these VIP lounges along with the diplomats and high society!



-Casino VIP lounges: Then, of course, we have casino VIP lounges both in land based casinos and in online casinos. In both cases you need to be a registered member of the casino. The land based casinos generally reserve their VIP lounges for those members who are high-rollers and invest a lot of money in casino games.
With the online casinos, membership in a VIP lounge is easier. It is usually based on a points system. The more you play at the casino, the more points you rack up until you have enough to become a "Loyalty" member and are given access to the online casino VIP lounge. This privilege generally offers special bonus treats for games plus special promotional advantages that are not offered to sometime players.

So it isn't always so difficult to enter a VIP Lounge and receive special treatment. A VIP Lounge always makes one feel a bit like a "king of the realm"!
