VIP TV Series: Projection is Dead, Long Live Plasma

If you think that VIPs watch their VIP TV series on huge projection televisions, then you are caught in the eighties. While it may have been true that at one time, big projectors were the cutting edge of technology, those things now belong only in VIP museums. They have been easily surpassed by the current generation of flat screen, plasma televisions sets that can be mounted on the wall. There is no longer any need to worry about big bulky projectors hanging off your ceiling. The other problem with projection televisions is that unless you were sitting in the exact right place, all the colors were off. That's hardly the way important people watch VIP TV series these days.

Why Plasma is the Name of the Game for Watching VIP TV Series

So now we have plasma units which are much better for several reasons. First, they are very thin. The latest plasma units are barely the width of an American football. That means that they are easy to hang on a wall where everyone can see. Even if you are having a VIP TV series viewing party and have invited a few dozen people, everyone will be able to watch in comfort. Just mount it on the wall about eye level and it will be an amazing attraction. When you are not watching, you can even draw a curtain over it. On the other hand, half the fun is letting everyone know you are a VIP TV series watcher so why not keep it on display.

VIP TV Series are Meant to be Watched in High Definition

Today, you just can't watch non high definition television and call yourself a VIP TV Series viewer. High definition adds so much more. Every detail is visible and the colors are rich and vibrant. In fact, there are those who believe that watching VIP TV Series in high definition is even better than watching live events with the naked eye. Television networks know this and that's why almost all high quality television shows - certainly any that would be labeled VIP TV series - are broadcast in high definition. Fortunately, every plasma television that I would call VIP standard is designed to receive and reproduce shows in high definition. Having a great plasma television that only shows low definition television would just not be an attractive option for anyone out there who enjoys watching high quality television shows. Yes, it seems that the only thing plasma televisions don't come with is a built in popcorn machine. But you never know, that could be coming next.
